Chase Elleby is an attorney at Joel Williams Law, LLC representing people who have been injured as a result of someone’s negligence.  Chase handles a variety of personal injury cases including auto and truck collisions, negligent security, wrongful death, and premises liability. Chase has mediated and tried numerous cases, and in just the past two years has used his negotiation and trial skills to recover over $4,500,000.00 for his clients.

Prior to representing the injured and their families, Chase represented corporations and insurance companies in defending against negligence actions. His prior experience as a defense attorney gives Chase a unique perspective in understanding how insurance companies work, which he now uses for his clients’ benefit.  Chase works hard to maximize every recovery for his clients.

Chase was raised in Kennesaw, Georgia where he graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School.  After high school, he attended Florida State University earning dual degrees in Political Science and Social Science. Chase then studied law at Georgia State University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, he earned numerous awards for his performance in the classroom. Chase is admitted to practice law in all Georgia Courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court, Northern & Southern District of Georgia.

In his spare time, Chase enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Karen joined Joel Williams Law, LLC in 2014 as our office manager and a paralegal. Karen wears many different hats in an effort to keep the firm moving forward in a cost-efficient, productive and professional manner for the benefit of the firm’s staff and clients. She works diligently to support our legal team during every stage of the litigation process. She possesses a genuine compassion and understanding for individuals and respects the circumstances or problems which may confront each client, and personally commits herself to professionally serving the needs of each of our clients.

Karen was born and raised in south Georgia.  She received her associate’s degree from Andrew College in Business/Accounting and a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University in Secondary Education/Mathematics.  Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Karen taught for several years as a high school math teacher in Early County and Henry County, Georgia.

In her personal time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Shannon grew up in a military family and traveled the United States as a child. She eventually ended up in Warner Robins, Georgia after her father was transferred to Robins Air Force Base.   Shannon graduated from Houston County High School and the University of Georgia where she obtained a degree in Scientific Illustration. After graduation, Shannon attended a Medical Illustration program at the Cleveland Institute of Art where she expanded her knowledge of art, anatomy and medicine through medical classes at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.

After graduate school Shannon began working at Nucleus Medical Media as a Medical Illustrator and Animator where she gained over 9 years of experience in the field of Medical Legal Illustration. Shannon’s education and experience as a medical illustrator provided her with extensive knowledge of the human body and injuries commonly seen in car accidents, slip and falls, and medical negligence lawsuits. Shannon’s primary responsibility for the firm is to work with clients and attorneys to gather, analyze, and organize medical records and bills for settlement and trial.

In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and three young daughters.  She also loves to read, hike, draw, and paint.
