Karen joined Williams Elleby Howard & Easter in 2014 as our office manager and a senior paralegal. She wears many different hats in an effort to keep the firm moving forward in a cost-efficient, productive, and professional manner. As our lead paralegal, Karen works diligently to support our legal team during every stage of the litigation process. When helping clients, Karen offers compassion and understanding. She understands that every client is unique; therefore, she goes the extra mile to fulfill the individual needs of everyone who reaches out to us for help. 

Karen was born and raised in south Georgia.  She received her associate’s degree from Andrew College in Business/Accounting and a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University in Secondary Education/Mathematics.  Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Karen taught for several years as a high school math teacher in Early County and Henry County, Georgia. She even taught high school geometry to our founding partner, Joel Williams.

In her personal time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

SHANNON SULLINS

Shannon grew up in a military family and traveled the United States as a child. She eventually ended up in Warner Robins, Georgia after her father was transferred to Robins Air Force Base.   Shannon graduated from Houston County High School and the University of Georgia where she obtained a degree in Scientific Illustration. After graduation, Shannon attended a Medical Illustration program at the Cleveland Institute of Art where she expanded her knowledge of art, anatomy, and medicine through medical classes at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.

After graduate school, Shannon began working at Nucleus Medical Media as a Medical Illustrator and Animator. At Nucleus, Shannon gained over 11 years of experience in the field of Medical Legal Illustration. Shannon’s education and experience as a medical illustrator equipped her with extensive knowledge of the human body and injuries commonly seen in personal injury lawsuits.

At Williams Elleby Howard & Easter, Shannon works with clients and attorneys to gather, analyze, and organize medical records and bills for settlement and trial. This video explains in detail the importance and the process of gathering medical records and bills.  Shannon also creates illustrations of complex medical procedures that our attorneys use during depositions and trials. As our firm continues to grow, so do the skills of our team. In 2023 Shannon completed a comprehensive digital marketing science course through Kennesaw State University; honing her skills in everything from search engine optimization to marketing analytics and the incorporation of AI in our marketing strategy. 

In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.  She also loves to read, hike, draw, and paint.

KYLE MCMANUS

Kyle joined Williams Elleby Howard & Easter in 2018 as a front office receptionist as well as a paralegal working primarily with Attorney Chase Elleby, and has worked her way up to a senior paralegal. Kyle greets each of our clients with a positive and caring attitude. Her multitasking skills and customer service experience enables her to assist our legal team and clients throughout the entire process of their case. Personal attention is her specialty! 

Kyle grew up in Acworth, Georgia and graduated from Allatoona High School. She then went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Behavioral Forensics at Kennesaw State University. Kyle also received her paralegal certification at Kennesaw State University.  

In her spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with friends and family traveling, going to baseball games, and being outdoors on the water.

NANCY RUIZ

Nancy joined the Williams Elleby Howard & Easter team in 2021 as a paralegal. Her primary responsibility is to make sure our clients’ medical records and bills are ordered, received, and organized in a timely manner. She also creates medical chronologies, billing summaries, and ensures that our attorneys have all of the information they need in order to prepare demands, take depositions, and try cases. She is also fluent in Spanish and English which is a tremendous help for our Spanish speaking clients.

Nancy was born in Acapulco, Mexico. She moved to the United States when she was 13 months old and has lived in the metro-Atlanta area most of her life. Nancy graduated from Pebblebrook High School and received her paralegal certificate from the University of Georgia in 2020.

In her spare time, Nancy enjoys the company of her family and friends,  playing volleyball, and spending time outdoors.

JORDAN WILDE

Jordan joined the Williams Elleby Howard & Easter team in 2022 as a legal assistant as well as one of our front office receptionists. She greets our clients with compassion and understanding and strives to make our clients happy! Jordan helps to keep our firm operating in a neat and organized fashion.  She completed the Personal Injury for Paralegals Certificate course at the University of Georgia in January 2023 and works primarily with Attorney Jared Easter.

 Jordan was born in Franklin, Tennessee, and moved to Georgia during her 8th grade school year. She graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2016. Jordan was a middle school and high school teacher for six years before joining the Williams Elleby Howard & Easter team.

 In her free time, Jordan enjoys hiking with her husband and two young sons and reading.

RACHEL WILSON

Rachel joined our team in 2022 as one of our front office receptionists as well as a Paralegal to support our expanding practice.  She will assist our staff of incredible paralegals and she is happy to help in any way that she can!

Rachel was born and raised in Cobb County where she attended Allatoona High School and later Kennesaw State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Rachel also received her paralegal certification from the University of Georgia in 2021.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and hiking.

MEEKIE GOESSLING

Meekie Goessling joined Williams Elleby Howard & Easter as a paralegal in 2023. Meekie began working in the legal field in 2018 and earned her paralegal certificate from the University of Georgia in 2019. She has experience in multiple areas of law but was drawn to personal injury out of a desire to help others during difficult times in their lives.  

Meekie was born in Marietta and grew up in Acworth, graduating from Etowah High School. After high school, Meekie earned her Master Cosmetologist License. Searching for more fulfilling work, she chose to leave her career as a hair stylist to become a paralegal. Meekie enjoys working on a variety of cases from the simplest settlement to the most complex litigation.  

In her spare time, Meekie finds pleasure in crafting, thrifting, antiquing, and spending time with her husband, family and pets.
